Fics like Connection Services

200 years after the end of Ruin and Rising, Aleksander is living a new life as an actor and and artist. While he was never able to gain Ravka's love and adoration, he's been successful at building a reputation as a Hollywood heart throb. The worst part of his life is when people confuse him with fellow British actor Ben Barnes. He hates Ben Barnes. Several years into his career he realizes how alone and empty his life feels. A new service pop up with the latest iphone update called Connection Services. Using all the data your phone collects about you (ie, everything), your phone will connect you (anonymously) to another individual you're guaranteed to connect with on the deepest level. Feeling like he has nothing else to lose, Aleksander flips it on. When the person he is connected with says things that sound eerily familiar, he abandons all his current projects to hunt the person down and find the truth of who they truly are. The situation Aleksander walks into is more confusing and intriguing that he could have imagined and absolutely nothing goes according to his plans.
