Fics like Keen-Edged, Keen-Eyed

Bilbo picks up an Elvish dagger in the troll-hoard, and it speaks to him. The elf-ghost inside is mysterious, but he turns out to be decent company, for all that, and he's certainly Bilbo's equal in making petty comments about everyone and everything. AKA the fic where Maeglin has been trapped in Sting since his death, and gets really attached (as all elves tend to) to hobbits.
