Fics like A Cloak of Green

Leoma is thrown for a loop when her evening at home is disrupted by a sudden drop into a dark forest. The Laiquendi of Mirkwood are thrown for a loop when they find her there. In the forest of Taur-nu-fuin, nobody can understand her, and at times Leoma can't believe the things they tell her are true. Her captors are ageless Eldar, and magic is real, and as soon as she can hold a sword she's sworn to serve a King. She doesn't believe in time travel, or God, or immortality - but her beliefs are pulled into question as she navigates the strange and fantastic world of Ennor. Unfortunately for Leoma, perhaps she belongs more to this world than she ever knew. Or, the author's shameless attempt at a realistic modern girl in Middle Earth story.
