Fics like A Crack in the Shell

Leo removed his belt and the strap that held his swords, and after some maneuvering, he was finally able to see his shell clearly enough. A thin crack about the length of his foot ran across the upper middle part of his shell, smaller cracks dotting the length, making it seem sort of like those weird-looking ladders on those metal telephone poles. Bad scrapes also dotted the surface, making one question bubble to the front of his slowly static filling mind. How did no one notice this? --------- Or, I wrote this fic because there is no way Leo's shell isn't cracked by the end in some way. He was pummeled so much he had to at least have some shell damage. Or x2, Kind of 3 times Leo hid the crack in his shell from his family, and 1 time they found out.
