Fics like Boot Prints in Bruises

When Steve showed up to his shift at Family Video wearing a long sleeved jumper and sunglasses, Robin and Eddie made worried eye contact, and demanded to know answers. Steve refuses, giving the vague answer that small towns have small minds, and waves off any concern from his two friends. But when Tommy Hagan comes in and brags to Eddie about beating the shit out of Steve for defending him, Eddie's brain shuts down for a second. OR Steve gets beaten up for hanging out the town's most hated innocent man, Eddie Munson. Eddie is not happy about this arrangement, neither is Robin.
