One minute Chad’s celebrating the fall of the barrier around the Isle of the Lost, going to Ben and Mal’s engagement party and having a redo of Jane’s birthday, the next Chad discovers an artifact in the depths of his grandfather’s study that accidentally re-writes the history of Auradon. Next thing he knew, he was waking years in the past before the VKs were even brought over, and for some reason it was no longer the United States of Auradon, but the United States of Sardinia, with Chad as the crown prince. He wasn’t sure what happened, but he did know one thing – he needed to find a way to undo the artifact’s spell and, in the meantime, try and guide Auradon down the path Ben had already established for it. Which involved using his first decree to bring over the VKs himself, and maybe also finding out what happened to this universe’s Ben, and somehow convincing Mal and her friends to be good again, just like last time. It was a tall order, but for the sake of Auradon, Chad would do his best. It was really the only option he had. ALSO KNOWN AS – That time Chad accidentally re-wrote history, but it’s okay, he’s totally going to put it back. Probably.
