Fics like Some Like To Only Live Once

Look, it's not Yuuri's fault he and Victor ended up dressed in drag and in a touring women's band across America. In fact, he'd first blame their financial situation, the Prohibition amendment, Chicago's mafia, and Yuuko before he blamed himself. And maybe Victor's recklessness too. But it definitely wasn't Yuuri's fault. Standing in front of the mirror, side by side, Yuuri dared to let himself call this 'domestic'. Him doing his makeup, arm pressed against Victor's as he shaved. If Yuuri really had been a woman, they could have had this everyday, until death did them part. But the thought soured in Yuuri's chest. Yes, he would have loved a life like this, but he couldn't let such unrealistic ideas wander his mind. He might start getting used to them. He quietly wished he had been allowed to get used to them. - The 1920s alternate universe where Victor and Yuuri are two struggling musicians that get caught at the wrong place at the wrong time... quite a few times. As told by your favourite - completely heterosexual - unreliable narrator, Katsuki Yuuri.
