Fics like alleyways and payphone calls

Victor lands in Japan on New Year's Eve. Travel time included, they've been apart for a week and a half. According to Twitter, their reunion is less 'darling, I missed you' and more 'darling, they told me you were killed in Normandy.' There are maybe two dozen pairs of eyes on them. It's mortifying, but kind of understandable. (Or: a travelogue of a competition season. Featuring: flight delays, detours, fumbling mutual support, and the Yuuri Katsuki Hotline.)
