Fics like Your chambers, my knight.

“What the fuck are you doing in my bed!?" He asked, putting his hand over his heart and leaning over the doorframe as if trying to calm his racing heart. What was he supposed to say? ‘Hey, we just fought the scariest monster either of us will hopefully ever see, but there's a spider in my room and I can't face it right now because l'Il straight up curl and cry until it goes away. I'm a little bit oversensitive because I’m exhausted, I think the meds are making a number on me and I feel like a kid again. Also I'm scared of falling asleep alone, and terrified of the dark. Why don't you hold me tonight? You make me feel safe. Please hold me tonight.’ So instead he said "You wear glasses?"
