Fics like Destination Unknown

You moved away from the West Coast over a decade ago, to try to make a name for yourself apart from you fathers prestigious reputation. Now after having made a home and career for yourself in Washington D.C., you get a desperate plea from your family to come home and spend the last remaining time with your quickly ailing father. You submit a proposal to your museums division director to curate an exhibition focusing on telling the untold stories of contemporary elite naval pilots and to write a book that corresponds with it. It’s quick to get the stamp of approval. Now you find yourself driving across the country back to the small town you used to call home. Little do you know that your meddling Guardian Angel made his request at just the right time, so you can reunite with your childhood friend and former one night lover. Bradley ‘Rooster’ Bradshaw.
