Fics like #WarPrizeJiSeason

Originally a Twitter threadfic: Wei Wuxian never made it out of the Burial Mounds, and eventually his family gave him up for dead. Then a mysterious immortal appeared, saving the cultivation world from Wen Ruohan without ever letting himself be seen. After the war, the sects start making offerings to the Yiling Laozu, hoping to curry favor with this powerful immortal. Things spiral out of control when sects start offering up people—including Lan Wangji. They don't start a sect on the Burial Mounds. They don't! Until they do.
