Fics like Iron Flowers & Steel Giants

The Great War was a time of death & despair, birthing hordes of colossal Grimm that devastated Humanity... but in the face of extinction, one weapon that was the battlefield's greatest terror became Humanity's shining beacon of hope. Ruby Rose, following in her mother's footsteps, trains to become a huntress so that she could possibly pilot such a machine someday, but fate seems to want to fulfill her wishes much earlier than anticipated. Taken under the wing of one of Aura Robo's original pilots, both her and her friends are dragged into something beyond their expectations. Although, perhaps it wasn't fate that guided her...
