Fics like Remnants of a Leviathan

Some time after the events of Metroid Dread, Samus and Adam are contacted by the Galactic Federation. They have detected signs of a threat thought long-gone: A Leviathan Seed, spreading the corruption of phazon across an unfamiliar planet, Remnant. Stranded with only her basic power suit to rely on, Samus must ally herself with the planet's inhabitants - an organization dedicated to training teams of bounty hunters - in order to restore her true potential and face the phantoms of her past. Phazon is a source of great power, however. And where there is power to claim, there will always be those aiming to control it. With this new resource at their disposal, threats both native to Remnant and hailing from beyond the stars may become truly unstoppable.
