Fics like Two hearts in one home

A smile curling lazily across his face, Carlos cracks his jaw open in a yawn and stretches. He uses the movement as an opportunity to grab for TK across the bed. He's missed holding him against his chest like a bullet wound. He's been losing sleep over it, which is ridiculous. He's like a kid who lost their teddy bear. He huffs at the thought, wanting to share the joke with TK but not finding him, reaching blindly now– And finding nothing. No warmth under the covers, even. Carlos turns his head to the side, suddenly very awake. There's no familiar bedhead beside him. No curled-up limbs. His stomach lurches. Has he been naive? Has he been the biggest idiot in existence? Oh, God. --- Even after Carlos welcomes TK back into the loft, he can't shake the fear of waking up alone.
