Fics like Chaos, Chained

In middle school, Akechi Goro dreamed of being swept away to distant lands of magic and adventure, where his mother was a queen, or a famous knight, or a wealthy merchant – someone powerful and respected, and most importantly alive. She would come to him one night and tell him how sorry she was for leaving him alone with Shido, and then she would take him with her to a place where he was free to be who he wanted to be, where Shido wasn’t his father after all, where he could become a hero. In university, Akechi Goro is only a few months away from finishing his degree and getting a job which will give him financial independence from his piece of shit father. He has somehow amassed a group of people who don’t seem to hate him, and whom he doesn’t hate either – as much as he might pretend otherwise at times. So, naturally, it is in university when his middle school dreams come true. Akechi Goro, when finding himself in another world with the aforementioned group of people, of course immediately proceeds to fall down a hole, have a breakdown, and accidentally marry the embodiment of chaos. Wait, what?
