Someone who knows about that other universe might be inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt. He absolutely does not deserve it. Or: The Emperor settles himself on his throne. “My old friend, why have you not told me your General was Force Sensitive?” Veers blinks. “You didn’t tell the Emperor I was Force Sensitive?” he asks, turning toward Vader, breaking military posture in his confusion. “You didn’t tell your Master your General was Force Sensitive?” Luke asks, hope stirring in his chest. There’s a moment where the only sound is the cycling of Vader’s respirator. The Sith twists to point at Veers. “You… you are Force Sensitive?”
