Fics like it was the wrong plan

The man didn’t even glance at him, no, he just kept firing. Bits of broken spaceship worked well as shielding for the vantage point his vod had found. He peered around a jagged edge and frowned. There were at least ten of those clankers left amongst the sprawled wreckage of a drop-ship. Wooley had managed to down a handful it seemed without drawing too much attention. The droids were focused on something inside the largest part of the wreck. "What are they firing at?" A flash of something beyond the droids made his blood go cold. Was that a child? He felt his eyes go wide when a piece of the ship slammed into two of the droids out of nowhere. A horrible grinding noise filled the space as the clankers almost became one with the ground beneath them. Not just a child then, a Jedi.
