Fics like This Love (Came Back to Me)

Once, when no shadows divided countries and generals led armies, when Grisha were nowhere safe, there was a little boy with shadows between his hands and a little girl with light between hers. Alina doesn't remember anything. Nobody knows her, and nobody misses her. Yet, deep inside she still has the hope that someone out there remembers her and that maybe someday, she'll remember again. After waking up from a coma without any memories of her past life and a golden necklace with her name engraved in it as her only possession, Alina is taken in by the Starkov's. For some time, she works in their modest inn and lives a simple life. One day, she joins the military and, during a crossing of the Fold, discovers that she can summon light. She is taken to the Little Palace where she slowly gets closer to the general of the Second Army. All the while, everyone looks at Alina like she is the answer while she herself doesn't even know who she was, is, and most importantly, who she is going to be.
