Now, Uther couldn't be redeemed. It's as obvious as it is certain that a task like this is impossible. But what would have to change to make him... at least acceptable? It's easy. Give him a heart. Alternatively: My attempt at writing an Uther who is mostly the same, but he actually cares about Arthur's and Morgana's wellbeing.
