Or, maybe Goro would go for the throat and announce he’s dead for all the world to hear. Akira wasn’t prepared for the calm, simple, “hey,” Goro offered in return. The words were jarring, coming from the body of the man Akira once believed hated him. So they were really doing this. No caricatures, no deceit, no pretending to be their old selves.
