Five days after Jon takes a corkscrew to his own eyes in his office in the archives, he sits unsteadily at a seat in Martin’s kitchen and lets the man unwind the bandages carefully from around his head. They’ve played out this little charade multiple times in the days since Jon managed to escape the swarm of paramedics attempting to drag him from the archives and ended up here | Jon quits as Archivist. Martin takes him in and tries to nurse him back to health.
