Fics like Champions and Protectors

Which hurts worse? broken bones or a collar? (Neither. A promise of kindness kills faster than any weapon.) ((So why isn't he dead yet?)) For as long as he can remember, Techno's been a fighter, a weapon, a tool for others to use and discard. Maybe this time would be different. Maybe this time sweet words wouldn't come with stinging fists and promises of pain. Maybe this time he could finally wash the blood from his hands and live a simple life. Eh. Probably not. ----- Buried to his eyes in debt from both his own failings and his son's stupid decisions, Philza Craft is forced to do the one thing he promised himself he would never do. Buy a slave to enter the rings. aka, the fic where Techno is an abused fighter and Philza unwittingly adopts him into his chaotic family. Will he learn he's more than a weapon to be used? Yes. Will it take a considerable amount of time and convincing? Yes. Will it be easy? Heck no, especially not with their pasts looming over them. What was it Tommy always says? 'pog through the pain'? Pog through the pain they will.
