Fics like The Gardener
Two orphans are growing up just a few miles apart, but still in completely different worlds: Jared has a loving family, friends and a dream. He wants to follow in his uncle’s footsteps and become a gardener like him, tending the flowers in the huge park that surrounds the mysterious O’Connell Manor. Growing up abused and isolated, Jensen neither has a loving family nor friends. He just has the garden Jared dreams about and the terrible knowledge of the cruel things that happen there. And he has to carry the guilt of what he has done and its aftermath that left him almost completely paralyzed and mute. The only thing he dreams about is to forget, to finally leave his prison, to find freedom, peace and maybe love. When Jared and Jensen meet, both their lives change, but can Jared help Jensen to make his dreams come true?
