Fics like Pearls Before Swine (And Princesses Too)

"Once Upon a Time" is the way many a fairy tale has begun... and why shouldn't they, hm? It's a perfectly respectable beginning to a story. It sets up certain tonal expectations; Castles, faraway lands, princesses and fairies. You know what you're getting into with a "Once Upon a Time"... and this IS a fairy tail after all..." Princess Cecily, newly-single thanks to an opportunistic ex-fiancé, travels to Dreamland to attend a wedding. Once there, she discovers the wedding is off, her ex has been turned into a pig, and realizes she may want more out of life than just to get married off and have babies.
