Fics like Don't Worry He Doesn't Bite

He warily opened an eye and gasped. In front of him was a puddle of different colored liquids and glass. Sat in the middle of all of it, was an orange cat with a white streak on its forehead. He scooted back in surprise and the animal blinked at him. “The fuck are you lookin’ at prick?” Tommy’s voice came from the cat and Wilbur let out a shocked humorless laugh. “You’re- you’re a pussy!” Wilbur pointed at the small feline who was steadying themselves upright awkwardly. “Wha- am not! You’re a pussy!” “No! Tommy you’re actually a pussy, like- you are a cat!” he exclaimed out of breath and in pain. Tommy slowly looked down at the ground and lifted a little paw, he stared at it for a second before launching several feet in the air screaming. Or: Tommy is a bounty hunter who is hunting Wilbur and accidentally falls on a bunch of mixed potions and turns into a cat. Wilbur is somehow the only person who can understand what he is saying and begs him to turn him back. Wilbur eventually agrees to get the child to leave him alone and they are off on an adventure to the Antartic Empire for a cure.
