Dean is really trying to listen to Sam talk about organic vegetables his fiancé wants, but his attention is brought to a commotion near the front of the store. There is a loud crash, like glass breaking. Immediately, Dean is on edge, his hand hovering over his concealed gun. He takes a few slow steps towards the end of the aisle, but doesn’t make it far before someone turns into the aisle from the opposite side. Dean turns to ask if the man is okay. The words get stuck somewhere in Dean’s throat, his eyes going wide. The man is wearing a suit and a long, tan trench coat. His tie is blue like his eyes and his hair is sticking up in all directions, completely wild and untamable in a way that has Dean swallowing the lump in his throat. The way this man walks, almost at a run, is like he’s on the most important mission of his life. “Dean, are you still there?” Sam asks, shaking Dean out of his trance. “I- um,” Dean starts, but suddenly there’s a large, strong hand on his shoulder and he’s being manhandled up against the shelf of bread.
