Fics like A Journey To Understanding.

He was confused. All those months, when he was trapped in the ridiculousness of war, he’d thought he knew exactly what he wanted, but now he wasn’t sure. He didn’t remember what life was like back home. What was home anyway? The country that owned him and forced him to fly suicidal missions in a war he had no personal interest in? He didn’t think so. So, instead, he lay in his hospital cot with an imaginary case of appendicitis and Harry Potter dutifully faked a migraine to be placed in a cot beside him. __ NottPott meets Catch-22.
