Fics like to walk amongst the stars

"Where is it that you come from?” Venti looks over at Zhongli, the stars reflecting in his eyes, the water kissing the bottoms of his feet. They’re seated at the dock, enjoying the way the ocean breeze greets their faces. All is calm in Liyue, as it usually is. Venti’s visits are frequent and filled with questions. It is only now, after decades of these visits, does Zhongli think to ask any of his own. “Where I come from…” repeats Venti as he hugs his legs tight against his chest, resting his cheek to the crest of a knee. The wind quiets. in which a star falls to dragonspine and becomes the wayward spirit venti. soon, he ascends to godhood. or, in other words, zhongli meets a free spirit and watches as he grows into the headstrong anemo archon he falls in love with.
