Fics like fish out of water

“Do you know what a fish is?” Mobius sucks in his bottom lip and draws a sharp breath. Right. So that’s an answer in itself. Loki has humiliated and humbled himself all in a single day. How extraordinary. “I threatened to gut Casey like a fish should he refuse my request. He didn't know what it was.” “You threatened Casey? Ah, man now that’s just sad…” Mobius snorts, murmuring the phrase over in hushed reverence. “Gut him, like a fish. Hey, do you even know how to do that?” “I’ve been fishing.” He has never fished for a fish in his life. “If you say so.” “I have. Many times.” Mobius looks far too amused. “Sure. Of course you have.” For the record, the whole thing is absolutely absurd and forever will be.
