Fics like The Speedster Saves Himself in this One

"There was a time when Wally remembered his parents being genuinely happy. His mom and dad had consciously made the decision to have children, and Wally was showered with love and affection throughout his baby and toddlerhood... but he was young and naive—he thought it would last forever." Or: the one where Wally West may come from an abusive home, but he will not let his father define who he is. And maybe, just maybe, he'll find people who love him along the way. **Note: This started as a birdflash fic, but Wally kind of took the wheel and ran with it (pun intended). Birdflash ended up becoming the endgame. Heavy focus on Iris and Barry bonding with their nephew (*cough* son *cough*).
