Fics like An Old Man is Dying

When Leon's father's health takes a turn for the worse, Arthur seeks out a magical being who may be able to help him. However, during their search, Arthur and the knights learn a dark secret about Merlin's past, his hidden family, and life-altering connections to Camelot years before he ever went. Basically a kind of dark, very relationship-based story about Merlin's magic being revealed. And Merlin is a badass.
