Fics like tender heart

"He had the awkward tenderness of someone who has never been loved and is forced to improvise." - Isabel Allende, The House of the Spirits (translated by Magda Bogin) - hoseok was used to pain, to the cold, to the bite of hunger. he was used to his father's fist and the whims of johns and ache of being unwanted. he was used to the loneliness that had made a home in his heart. hoseok was not used to strange alphas picking him up and taking him to meet their packs and making him feel sparks of hope that he hadn't felt since he was a child. he wasn't sure he would ever get used to it. but he hoped they'd let him try.
