Fics like Building from Nadir

John Watson had planned to live his life as a Beta. He wanted to be known as a soldier, a doctor, and a friend of Sherlock Holmes; never as an Omega. It had worked. For twenty-five years, it had worked. Until it didn't. Facing the reality of failing suppressants amid the first case of a murdered Omega in thirty years, John is struggling to find himself and what exactly it means for his undefinable relationship with the very Alpha Sherlock.
