Fics like Memento

The life of a God was a lonely one. Barbatos had known of this all along. To witness your friends disappear while you stay the same takes a lot of strength to not break down. But it's precisely because he had met these friends that he was able to be strong and live as the carefree bard "Venti." The mementos they had left for him to protect, the memories he will forever cherish, as long as he could help it, for their sake, he was going to live on. If there was someone who knew the full extent of a God's loneliness, It was Morax. He was deemed as the strongest of the Archons yet he couldn't protect the person that mattered to him most. The memories they shared was rooted deep in his heart and for that person's sake, he decided to live on. These two Gods whose loneliness was heavier than most met in a sea of dandelions, and from there on their friendship blossomed. Maybe perhaps with the others help, the loneliness would finally disappear and something more hopeful would rise up from its ashes.
