Shawn has proposed to Gus four and a half times. Gus would say that you can't count half a proposal as a time Shawn, you have to get all the way through, just thinking about it doesn't count as a proposal. Shawn, resolutely, disagrees. After all, he doesn't count the hundreds, possibly thousands, of times he’s thought I want to marry Burton Guster in-between the times he's said it out loud, but Gus doesn't know that.
