Fics like Nice To Meet You

Magnus kept speaking but Alec tuned out. How. How was the first person he’d ever had sex with his new boss? He continued his pattern, looking at the five objects until he finally felt like he had a better hold on himself. Until he looked up just in time to see Magnus’s eyes fall on him. Whatever welcome speech he was giving stopped for a moment, recognition flaring in his eyes as he made eye contact with Alec. Then he moved on, continuing with the first day speech and Alec felt like his heart might beat out of his chest. Could other people hear it?
