Fics like Our Bond

Long ago, the mortal realm was ruled directly by the Emperors of the Celestial and their families. Eventually, they retreated and decided to let humankind be, putting their most trusted mortal families in control of their kingdoms and acted as overseers. The two most well known, both for their fierce love and loyalty to each, are the Day and the Night. Revolving around each other, pulling their chariot of the Sun and Clouds and the chariot of the Moon and Stars, they are eternally bound to be in the sky and out of reach of the mortal realm, but how out of reach are they really? Night and Day, both bored and tired, decided to take a vacation and descend to the mortal realm. Day becomes Viktor and Night becomes Heine. Even in mortal vessels, both still gravitate to the other. Both retain their immortal statues, powers, and lifetime, but both are to hide until it was time for them to reveal themselves to the mortal realm and while they wait, they challenge their children. i.e. the AU! Where Heine is mom and Viktor is dad to the children and both are immortal deities and the game is that their children have to figure out just who the two are and their relationship. Winner gets to order the loser around for a day.
