Fics like uncertainty of what's to come

this started out as a shatterstar character exploration but now it's. not that. featuring discussions of earth and people and how confusing that can be as well as what it means to be depowered. -- There was a point in time at which those around him assured that one day Shatterstar would fit in, as if there was a metaphorical slot in which he would fit perfectly among the others. Shatterstar does not like to be cornered, to be boxed in. There was some comfort to be sought in the idea that a place among the people of Earth could not be assigned to someone who was not meant to be there.
