Fics like Mind the Cap

In the hospital, Sam Wilson waits for Steve to wake up - and in the meantime, he's got some company. And not just your average trickle of well-wishers. No. Turns out it's freakin' Grand Central Station beside Captain America's sick bed. They have questions, and he doesn't have a lot of answers. After all, he's just the guy who arrived in the middle of the plot. But somehow he still manages to say the right things, because when it comes down to it they're all on the same team. OR The story of how the Avengers alternately interrogate, pester, and adopt Sam Wilson. (Herein there be spoilers for Captain America: The Winter Soldier.)
