Fics like Glittering Wings of Gold

There were many rumours about Xerxes before it fell, however over time people forgot the myths and legends of the desert people who could grow scales and wings. Ed just wanted to get his brother's human body back, preferably without their secret getting out. Getting kidnapped didn't really figure into that, especially when Roy Mustang comes running to the rescue and then inevitably needs saving. Roy had a plan, become Fuhrer of Amestris and save everyone. It was pretty simple and it certainly didn't involve him meeting a dragon the size of a small building.
