Fics like resting place

The short way up the hill ends in no time with Sofiel’s loving support, leaving her with a sight that shakes her to this very day: a grave. A bundle of hand picked wild flowers rest upon the soil, before the small tombstone. Eyes fixated on the symbols etched into stone by massive claws. It's so surreal to gaze upon the final resting place of her only child. On this day one year ago, El fell victim to the morbid ideals of a tyrant, carried out by a spineless knight. The mere thought causes her teeth to grit, tears of pure wrath building in her eyes. Her hand cramps up around Sofiel’s, holding onto it for dear life. If her seraph wasn't with her, Jeanne’s resolve would eventually shatter.
