Fics like in flagrante

“... Alright, I’ll be on my way then.”, Rita says, throwing a bag over her shoulder, and then shoots Nina a glance, “It’s going to take me a while, so stay put and watch my office.” Once a month Rita sees herself forced to go past the gates of Anatae to gather herbs and other ingredients for her potions. It’s actually surprising that she didn’t have to go twice this month, considering how many different recipes for tinctures she tried out. “Of course!”, Nina replies while she sweeps the floor, freeing the tiles of stray black feathers. A certain someone had a rather rough day after being mangled by an entire company of guards. “You know you can trust me with your office!” “And you.”, she gives the injured demon in the corner of the room a more threatening look, her tone gruff and heavy, “No bad ideas.” What’s that supposed to mean? Does she even know who she’s talking to?
