Fics like here comes the flood
"I just… why?" Yuri grits from between clenched teeth. His tears are coming faster now, a steady plip-plip turning the fabric of his sheets a darker blue. "Why what?" "Why are you being so… so nice to me?" he demands. "I was terrible to you that time in Sochi, when I heard you cry. What I said was–" he sniffs, "it was cruel." Yuri has never been one for introspection, for regrets, for examining himself and his behavior, but this, he knows. "I don't deserve kindness. Not now, not from you." "Yura," Katsuki says softly, the kindest admonishment he's ever heard. "Viktor and I love you. You're family." Oh.
