Fics like Some Dreaming State

When he wakes up again, Finn knows some time has passed. He thrashes within his own mind, desperate to open his eyes and actually be a part of the world around him and terrified that he’s doomed to remain trapped in the dark forever. When the thoughts just begin to overwhelm him the sound of approaching footsteps distracts Finn. The feeling of sunshine precedes Poe’s voice. “Still not awake yet, huh, buddy?” I am awake! He wants to scream, I’m here, I’m right here, can’t you tell?
