Fics like 月の美しさ (Beauty of the Moon)

"Mikazuki-dono, if I may ask, what do you find so fascinating about the moon? True, it is not surprising that you're interested in the moon, considering that your name literally has 'moon' in it, but what more is there to the moon than a silvery orb illuminating the night sky when the sun sleeps?" "The moon, dear Kogitsunemaru, is the subject of numerous myths and superstitions around the world." Kogi unconsciously shuffled closer, Mikazuki's words catching his attention, as Mikazuki continued. "Each phase of the moon cycle has its own special meaning and symbolises a different stage of our life. The new moon, for example, represents new beginnings, and a fresh start. It is the beginning of a new cycle in our lives, and opens up new paths for us."
