Buck wants to adopt Theo. There’s just one problem: on paper, his life could look a little more stable. His caseworker asks one seemingly harmless question. Has he ever considered marriage? So Buck does the only reasonable thing. He drives straight to Eddie’s house. “You have to marry me.” Eddie looks at him for approximately three seconds. “Okay.” It’s supposed to be practical. A marriage on paper. A little more stability for Theo. Nothing about their friendship has to change. Except Eddie buys Buck an engagement ring because no one actually asked Buck if he wanted to marry him. Then they get married. Then everyone assumes they’ve secretly been together for years. Then they kiss. And suddenly Buck and Eddie have a much bigger problem than an adoption application. Because somewhere between you have to marry me and I do, their fake marriage starts feeling dangerously real.
