Fics like find out your hiding places again

She really does mean it when she says she plans on telling Bruce herself. Seriously. It is on the to-do list. It should be so simple. Hey, B, so, funny story — I got shot in the head while you were gone. But I'm totally doing way better now and it wasn't even that big of a deal. So if you have any other questions just ask Babs, because I only remember about seventy percent of the last eight months, if we're being so for real. The guy's still hobbling around with a cane, for god's sake. She can just say it and then bolt. What's he going to do, chase her? And yet, somehow, the right spot to say these words never quite makes itself known. Or: that time Steph got shot in the head during Batgirl (2009) is a bit of a bigger deal than it was in canon.
