Fics like For Robby, forever ago

“One of our old med school classmates contacted me, they finally opened the time capsule, the one we buried all together our last year. Do you remember Jack?” "Kind of, it's been a while" “What did you put in it?” “I don’t remember” “You’re lying, Abbot. You always remember everything” Actually, Jack hadn’t forgotten, he remembered perfectly what he'd put in it. A letter, for Robby. He had written his name on the envelope too. And then, because there was no one there to stop him, he had written everything else. Somewhere inside a box that had been underground for twenty years was a letter written by a young man who had believed, with complete certainty, that nobody would ever read it. Or at least, that he wouldn't be there anymore already.
