Fics like Why Not?

And someday is someday, but right now there’s this: the mattress dipping under both their weight, the sunlight moving slow and gold across the ceiling, a sock drawer four feet away holding a secret Gerard's terrified and thrilled about in roughly equal measure. The absolute luxury of a Sunday night with nowhere to be, spent doing nothing at all except this with the person he loves. "Work life sucks," Gerard says, eyes already closing again, voice gone thick and slow around the edges. "But real life doesn't." Frank exhales, some of the last of the day's tension finally draining out of him, and presses closer, forehead tucked against Gerard's collarbone. *** or: a year and a half after the events of Never Not, Gerard and Frank plan a wedding. It goes about as well as you'd expect
