Fics like The Desperate Prayer

Early seasons Destiel is so special. Here they fumble around their feelings while preparing to stop the apocalypse - Dean wants to sacrifice himself as Michael's vessel, Castiel is in the middle of a civil war, and Sam wants these idiots (lovingly) to get a room already so everyone can focus. A mix of canon-related but out of order lore - Lucifer is in the cage, the boys fight vamps and demons, Bobby is hunting, Sam came back Soulless but has his soul back now, Dean had the year with Lisa and Ben, Castiel's Grace has already been stolen and fixed but is not doing so great. Explicit :) More chapters coming!!
